Ride Her Way

The ‘Ride Her Way’ Project aims to encourage and support more women to ride bikes through a variety of strategies including collaboration with local women to develop values-based messaging to be promoted broadly, lived experience video stories from local women, bicycle maintenance workshops for women, and the distribution of bike, lock and helmet packages.

As part of this Project, a local bike riding survey was undertaken, and 310 local women gave us valuable insight into the barriers and enablers to riding bikes. The findings of this survey are helping to inform future initiatives which support local women to ride bikes.

Local Walks

We have been finding local walks and creating reels which are located on our Instagram so you can see what the walk is like before undertaking it. To see the walks we’ve completed, check out the ‘walks’ highlight in our @_healthy_peninsula Instagram.
